Leo Kottke

Kottke usually sounds like 2 or 3 people playing at once. There's a great video of Kottke called Leo Kottke: At Home and Away. Most of the earlier records are just Kottke singing and playing. Some of the newer ones are kind of new-age sounding with electronic keyboards and stuff. My favorite records are Guitar Music and One Guitar No Vocals which are both just solo guitar. But I like to hear him sing too. I've seen him live a couple of times, very special, don't miss him if he comes around.
